Что происходит с моими четырёхлетними близнецами?
Now both my 4-year-old twins are having sleep issues, they both wake up on and off all night and then end up sleeping in the living room where my husband and my older son sleep. So basically now I'm the only one who sleeps alone and there's two empty bedrooms that I can choose from. My husband's like oh it's just a phase they are going through and the next couple days, now it's already been over a week. Same thing happened with my older son and now he's been sleeping out there permanently in the living room. So now he's permanently going to have three children sleeping with him but I'm always going to have to be alone which is fine with me. I wish I could understand what's going on with these twins but it's like worse and worse every few days it's just like they're going to end up in the living room every night now. We never even get a solid night sleep anymore, is this normal for 4 year olds??

My 2.5 year old has been sleeping terribly then screws her brother up. I was hoping it’d pass but it’s been almost two months and I want to rip my hair out. If you find a solution, please share it

Mine often wake one another which then leads to one of them coming to my room to cuddle. Once one is in my room we all slept better on those restless nights. Getting the right amount of activity and rest balanced out is hard but it helps!

My dd won't be 4 until May but she is also waking in the night to come in and cuddle me. Her sister just turned 6 last week. She occasionally does the same. Usually when they have been over or under stimulated through the day or I haven't had enough time to give them the dedicated attention they need or want is when this happens. But we stay firm about them going to bed in their own bed. Since the baby was born we have had more of this. But I personally don't mind them coming to sleep with me as long as I can still get the rest I need. They won't be little forever, but at the same time I worry about them being able to self soothe as they get older because it's not just a skill needed as a baby. All in all, what you're going through is normal. But you'll have to determine the limitations and set boundaries you are comfortable with. Hope you all figure it out fast!

they've been sleeping totally fine until like a month or so ago that's what I don't understand. But I told my husband they need new beds and he said the cribs are big enough the sides down and they can get in and out of them whenever they want. I said but still they have the bars all around them and I'm sure they hit them all night long and it wakes them up

I disagree with your husband. Tell him to sleep in a twin size bed with three sides. He would be miserable even if he "fit". Besides the mattresses meant for cribs are terribly uncomfortable. They are 4. They are growing. If they were sleeping fine before but aren't any more then a change is warranted if it's serious enough for you to be worried. Sorry mama! My girls never slept well in a crib. They have a twin over full size bunk. And it's been worth every penny for us. I agree with your assessment and hope you can figure things out soon!!! Hugs mama. I've tried to explain to him it's got to be super uncomfortable I wouldn't want to sleep in one if I was four. Even though we got like really good mattresses for them I'm sure they are more uncomfortable than a regular mattress
