How is it possible that I’ve gained weight? Maybe because I have my period? I don’t know but I’ve been doing so good these past couple of weeks and I know I can’t expect a crazy change in loss but I didn’t expect to step on the scale at the doctors and weigh more 😩
I gain ten pounds when I’m on my period too
Also I was told by the nurse in my gyno’s office that they reset their scales maybe every 6 months so they know they won’t be accurate. She even said she doesn’t go by any scales in the medical building because all of them are up to 5lbs off at least. So its nothing to stress over. Just keep doing what your doing.
Stay away from the scale!! You can possible be losing fat and gaining muscle so the scale will go up. Go by how you feel, inches lost maybe? How your clothes fit
Doctors scales ⚖️ be way off...I be like I don't weigh that damn much 🙄😂 but I always gain weight/bloat on my period so I'm sure it's that
I swear it’s always worse there 🙄
Now it just looks like I’ve gained a ton of weight since my last visit, they are probably like what is this girl eating 🤣
@madmumma, @riasm85, yeah I’ve been avoiding the scale, but I had an appointment today for my tubal and they weighed me so I didn’t have a choice but wish they really didn’t need too
Its the "I didn't have a choice but wish they really didn't need too"😂 ok! Like really doctor? Is this TRULY necessary here? 😂
Hang in there girl. No joke you've got this and btw you are seriously always stunning
@riasm85, LMAO. If they wouldn’t of looked at me like I was crazy I probably would of asked 🤣🤣 and thanks babes 😘
I'm always super duper bloated while on my period. Its always like I'm 5-10lbs heavier😩 like all my dieting right before didn't take lol so I feel you girl. Also i have a scale in my house but just won't put batteries in it. I don't need that thang stressing me out lol. Seriously, once you hit your 30s the struggle is real lol
I never go by doctor scales because I always weigh more on them I only go by mine cause it’s consistent. And I agree don’t weigh yourself on period week the bloat is unreal and always gain weigh more on your period and goes away
@jenx, @mommiesgoneabitmad, thanks I am trying not to worry too much about it, it’s just discouraging when you’re trying so hard 😓
I know I’m rooting hardcore for the change you deserve to see!!!
That’s the bloat from your period! I agree with @jenx, go by your clothes and not scales.
If you feel better that’s what matters.
Sidenote nothing counts period week
Going from scale to scale changes things too. They probably last calibrated theirs in 2007. If your clothes aren't tight, you're fine.
I gain ten pounds when I’m on my period too
Girl!!! Stay away from the scales on periods I gain 7 to 10lbs while on it and then will loose it once it's over
I hope that’s all it is, I didn’t even want to get on a scale today but I was at the doctors 😑🤣
@caffeinequeen doctors scales I are always heavy I swear ugh
Is It Weird That I Don't Want Other Expecting Moms To Know My Baby's Name??
I Would Be Furious!!!
Just Find Your Own Name For Your Baby, Don't Be A Name Stealer Lmaoooo
I'm Deadass Tho...
Do u ladies think friendships come with expectations? Imo a true friendship shouldn’t have any expectations. However I was asked yesterday if someone wasn’t meeting my expectations of the friendship. To which I responded I don’t think there should be expectations to a friendship. What are your thoughts?
I'm a FTM and almost 7 weeks and I literally don't know what to expect now any answers?
I bit the bulletin and bought a few bikini tops. I haven’t worn a bikini top since before having kids but I’m doing it this year. I’ve been working so hard on myself with working out and eating better. I’m also just feeling more comfortable in my own skin. I have some saggy skin and stretch marks but ya know what I’ve seen worse at the beach haha. I’m proud of myself for this!! I’m owning my belly this summer!!! F it ya know?
