So when emie was born i told the health visitor i was struggling and felt very low mentally. This was at her 1st appointment when she was 6 weeks old (baring in mind this was very out of character for me ive never had any mental health issues and it took a lot for me to say.) Shes now 6 month's and i never even got so much as a call back. Goes to show how bothered they are doesn't it. 🙃

They did this after I had Theo. I told her I was feeling really low, I explained my symptoms, how possessive I was over him, how I was having extremely intrusive thoughts, everything. She ignored it, made a note in her diary and didn't see my again until he was almost two. I went through 22 months of hell, I wasn't brave enough to contact the doctor myself. Eventually Przemek made me go because it was awful for everyone, turned out I had PND and post natal anxiety.

My health visitor with Aniela has been really good, I think it's just luck of the draw on whether you get a good one or a rubbish one 😩

I would definitely get in touch with your doctor, or even another health visitor and explain what's gone on and how you're feeling. I hope you get the help you need x

I had the same issue. I have PTSD and anxiety from my first born. I didn't know at the time but with my 2nd born I explained to the health visitor I think I had post natal depression and suffered very low mood, so she was like oh ok we can visit you a few extra times to see how you're getting on. No one bothered. Eventually after a very long time I went to the GP who referred me to psychology and after several sessions they felt I had PTSD and anxiety.
