Can I hear everyone’s experiences with the coil? I REALLY (Emphasis on the really 🤣) want to go on…

Following I’m getting mine next week!!

I loveee it! I love the fact I'm starting to feel myself again starting to get to know my body again after being on the injection for years bu I've got the copper coil! First 6m was meh spotting Inbetween but now its settled i can't complain. My oh can't feel it were as some say there partner can feel the strings so thats hit and miss, I havent gained weight were as I usually do on injection or pill, my time of the month has changed a slight bit its more heavier but only have it for 2 days instead of 5! I definitely recommend it! If you do book in take paracetamol half hour before you have it fitted! And prepare yourself cos it does kill but not like having a baby cos its over an done within a second but you can feel slight faint afterwards so they say to take your time standing up! And take a pad cos you can bleed a slight touch afterwards, i messed around after my youngest and got the infection and it neber agreed with me like beforehand so i wish id of not left it so long and got it straight away and now its there its staying there till another 6years now😂 x

I had the coil put in but not for contraception but for my periods been heavy and used to be on for 3 weeks at a time and also have fibriods. Had it fitted November bled for 3 weeks then nothing untill last week bled for 4 day and off again back to normal like I used to be...so far for Me so good

I have the copper coil, normal periods once a month no problems with it at all it’s hormone free and tbh don’t really know it’s there! And don’t have to think about contraception for like 10 years so! Xx
