The child lived with the dad, the mom hasn’t been around for a year and lives in DC. Dad claimed he say the son at 2am monday. reported him missing around 11am. The FBI and forensic team have been a part of the recovery. Chief police said the fathers story doesn’t match their findings and investigation. They are now working on a different time line. Last night they recovered a mattress and other items out of the dumpster. Today the dogs surrounded a uhaul that was parked right beside their residence. Both parents are people of interest. When reporters asked if they believe the boy to be alive the chief responded that they will continue to search for him as if he is until he is found. So basically they have enough info to know he was killed and they need more info to arrest the parent/s. They are also saying he was last seen sunday, not monday.
