Does anyone have a child with PSO or ASD? My son had a ultrasound today on his heart and we found out 2 hours ago that he has one of these. My heart is broken , I have no idea what to do or think and of course I don’t want this for my baby. I want to know what happened with your kids who had it or have it and how are you dealing with it ?

My youngest was born with a PFO, VSD and peripheral pulmonary artery stenosis. They all cleared and closed by a year. I work in adult cardiology and I have patients who have congenital defect’s who are perfectly healthy and have had no intervention. They get ultrasounds yearly though

I’m sorry to get your son had that but I am so happy to hear that he is cleared and it closed up. I’m hoping the same for my son. I’m hoping with him being premature he just needs some more time to get it to close but I also don’t want to wait around if surgery was required. Do you know how if effects babies? He seems like it didn’t bother him and with the doctor said it wouldn’t but of course as a parent you assume these things are.
