I would do just about anything to get my almost 11 month old to sleep at night. I'd even settle for getting up once a night but this 3 times a night thing is getting old and being up 3 times a night and then having to be up at 6 to get my older 2 ready for school... i just want some sleep 🥴
It's amazing how each kid is so different! Shes at least finally napping during the day. Her last nap ends at 4 with a 7pm bedtime
Truly! And it keeps going as they get older. None of my kids are the same!
That’s not bad mama keep up the great work
Good lucky! I had a child with FOMO so all the things in the world didn’t help. You’re amazing and keep it up! Hopefully your bebe isn’t like mine that happened for years. All the good vibes to you
I'm going through the same thing with my 13 month old. Like just sleeeeeeeep all night please
How quickly do you respond to her when she wakes at night? Is she still in your room? It sounds like it’s time to night wean for your own sanity. I had to do it right before my youngest turned 11m. I could not be up feeding him 2-3x a night and then be up for work by 5:45. I have to get the kids ready & everyone out of the house by 7 followed by a full 9-10 hour workday. It took a week or two to night wean him but he gradually woke up less until he slept all the way through.
@countrypeaches42013, I don’t blame you for not wanting to move her into the room with the girls just yet. Good luck with night weaning - it’s not easy!
@ksmommyx3, He had been waking to eat around 10, 2, and 5. First i dropped the 10:00 feed & wouldn’t feed him unless he was hysterical and acting hungry. Then I dropped the other feeds. He was pissed for the first few days but he finally figured out he wasn’t getting milk. The thing that helped the most was moving him out of our room into his own room. Once he realized I wasn’t a few feet away, he started sleeping all the way through most nights.
@ekko that's the exact same times my son wakes up LOL. I'll try that, I just hate hearing him cry 😔 keeping me up lol
Girl! I feel this. Lynnie, my 5 year old, woke every two hours to breastfeed until she was 2. Same with Will. Now, I still wake up 3-4 times a night with Lynnie wanting milk lol it's exhausting for sure. My journie girl sleeps so well that some nights she don't wake until like 4 a.m. I hope yours gets better soon, for your sanity🙏
SLEEP
Every time someone posts about their 6 week old sleeping through the night, I want to punch a wall. My 14 month old has slept through the night probably 5 times in his life. I'm fcking tired. He used to get up only once. Now he's up 4 - 5x a night. Honestly, idk if I want any more children. All I can think about is going years and years never sleeping. I'm losing my faking mind. It's honestly starting to make me angry every time I have to get up. (Obviously not enough to hurt him). my hus...
Does anyone's 2 month old sleep through the night yet? If so what time does baby go to bed and wake up that counts as "sleeping through the night"? I know every baby is different I was just wondering what I may be able to expect hopefully soon or in the future.
Mommies I need advice....
So last night was night 15 of me sleep training my daughter from sleeping with me to now sleeping in her new crib. It has been EXHAUSTING! When she slept with me she would sleep straight throughout the night. Now she wakes up at the least, 5 times throughout the night. She has waken up at most 8/9 times at night. There have been times where I’m patting her for an 1 hour-2hours straight to get her back to sleep when she has waken up at one of those times🥵. So I have fel...
My 5 month old still wakes up atleast 2 times during the night, any advice on getting him to sleep through the night? I don't mind waking up but it would be nice to finally get a full night sleep!
