Hi ladies, looking for some tips and advice if you can 🥰
Both my boys i formula fed from start to finish, ive decided this time i want to express my milk, but not breastfeed as my babies arent able to latch on (not them, me)
As ive never given my babies my breastmilk before i was just wondering how it all works, how often should i feed them, how long can i freeze milk for etc etc
Any tips would be helpful, especially about the night feeds, thank you 🥰

Feed on demand :)
Breast milk can be at room temperature 6 hours, 6 days in the fridge and 6 months in the freezer :)

yeah it is, they're just not able to latch on to them
Do I still have to switch sides when I pump or can I pump both at the same time
I'm getting the elvie breast pump, it's an electric one

Are they flat? You can try nipple shields and then these little things that will help suck out your nipples if that is the issue
You can pump both at the same time, definitely recommend a double pump

Important to note, when storing breast milk in the fridge do not leave it in the fridge door. It will go off faster :)
You can pump both breasts. You may find an electronic double breast pump better than a single one. Medela is a good brand :)
If you're wanted to try actually feeding then you could possibly try a nipple sheild :) you can pick them up at boots :) xx
