Hey my husband tested positive for covid today. He is vaccinated we were actually going for our boosters Monday, can I still get mine? He is isolated to our bedroom. What’s the criteria for his isolation period given he is vaccinated not sure if that changes anything? I read it’s 5 days so that’s Tuesday? I have to get ahold of my kids school to see what their criteria is. It was so hard to find a testing site today. So I am hoping we can just quarantine. My kids are also vaccinated. Sorry if this is all over the place. Just a bit stressed and being 20w3d pregnant doesn’t help 😩
@prettygirlrock1214surromom They did the next day with each of us when we came positive in early Nov(dh/me), late Nov(our girls).
These are the new guidelines, you sort of have to follow the flow of his exposure, positive test, and symptoms. I wouldn't automatically go for a booster on Monday with you being pregnant. If you unfortunately catch a breakthrough case it may make it harder for your recovery to tax your system like that. I would put a call out to your OB if you can on that.
Such stressful times. :( I'm sorry, hon!

I’ll call my ob on Monday! And thanks! His work is annoying with it they found out someone at work and as positive on Wednesday. But he had been at work all week so we don’t know the exact day of exposure just his symptoms starting and positive test. I think we will just take it day by day isolate my whole house but him in a different room for at least 5 days if not 10 days. And it was sooo hard to find a testing place that im just going to isolate the rest of us. We paid $150 for his tests today and theres 5 of us. Not trying to put a price on our health of course, but we have been exposed so we will stay home
@prettygirlrock1214surromom this sounds like a plan! It's all you can do with the unsure circumstances.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
The health department will call you and give you guidance once they receive his PCR results. Hope he feels better fast.
