Mine does the same and I found out I’m super anemic and having to take medication. I did my glucose test and they check my iron levels along with a urine test ect At 28 weeks. I also have anxiety which makes my heart rate faster as well so with that and being anemic I feel so drained
I did my sugar levels at home for a week with a machine and they did check my levels I have results but no call yet. I’m calling to see what they mean today
If your doctor isn't worried, and the tests are coming back normal, I wouldn't worry either. Pregnancy increases the amount of blood in the body, so your heart is having to work harder to pump it around, so that could be what causes the palpitations. So therefore... normal in pregnancy 😅 just wait for the folate test results and see what they say.
@mujerstillregal, I did get the test back it’s with in normal range close to the low end though. I haven’t gotten a call about my results yet so I’m gonna call today and see if I can take to someone about it. I dot. Really understand what these number suppose to mean.
Talk to your doctor to get tests done. Do you have any other symptoms? Heart palpitations can be nothing, or can be something. That's when your heart pounds hard out of your chest; it's usually fast, if it's over a certain beats per minute, it becomes tachycardia, tachycardia is usually bad news.
@ksmommyx3, I do get my levels tested because I don’t do prenatals and they haven’t seen low iron . I did just get a specific folate test done Monday so maybe there’s an answer there. I looked it up when I saw your comment and folate deficiency is under anemic too
