My poor 3yr old fell today and tore her perineum, I feel so bad, everytime she moves qrong or has to go to the bathroom she cries 😢 Dr said should heal on its own, how long?

They say it coukd be days or weeks, but ive never had to get stitches or such down there after birth so im not entirely sure how to take care of it
