Does anyone know if this is normal? She lost her cord about a week ago. She’s been inconsolable screaming for an hour and a half now which I assumed is down to trapped wind (she’s bad for winding) but now wondering if this could be the cause??

I can see its bloody but is there any discharge colour stuff coming from it? And is it smelly? Olivers looked like this, and they said aslong as none of the above keep an eye on things. Keep it clean and make sure it's dry after x

Doesn’t look like there’s any discharge coming from it. I’m 99% sure it’s trapped wind but with just noticing this now I wasn’t sure if it could’ve been causing discomfort. We are 2 hours into none stop blood curdling screaming and I’ve tried everything 😩🥺

It looks fine to me, I think my youngest was like this and the midwife just said the same as long as it doesn’t smell and there’s no discharge a little bit of blood is usually normal so just keep an eye on it x

It's fine its normal for it to bleed. Emies did and I asked the health visitor and she said as look as it doesnt look infected (discharge) its fine. It's just where her nappy has rubbed it a bit 😊 xx
