Am I a bad parent?

Husband called me a bad parent this morning when I let my daughter go back to sleep on her own. The thing is that I have already believed this every single day about myself on my own.

She cried for all of two seconds while she was still laying down and then went back to sleep.

oh ok that’s what I thought you meant just wanted to make sure before I commented 😅. That does not make you a bad mother, it is ok for her to self soothe sometimes. If he thinks it’s such a problem maybe he should of helped out 🤷🏻‍♀️

@mommysaurusx7, she’s almost 2. She should be able to self soothe herself back to sleep. That doesn’t make you a bad parent at all.

my husband told me he loved me earlier and I told him that it was nice to hear now but he could have showed it better when he called me a bad parent this morning.

yeah that’s not right at all. Calling your spouse s patent do freely over something so small isn’t okay

This does not make you a bad parent. She’s old enough to sleep on her own.

Well she’s almost 2 so you’re doing the right thing. If she was a newborn then that’s a different story.
