Got a call from the school nurse. My kid were exposed on the bus and are now in quarentine. 3rd time this school year…

@dontblockmesis-imjustspeakingfacts, yes, you read that right!! They called me a couple weeks ago to tell me my son was exposed. The nurse went through all this stuff about our test to stay program. At the end, I said something about him being fully vaccinated and she said, wait, that changes everything!! I said, Guess I should have led with that?! So she checked the data base again, and confirmed he was fully vaccinated and said, Nevermind. Carry on! 😳 And I’m pretty sure he was exposed again since then, but no call.

Yes masks are required but i know they dont force them to wear them properly. I guess the exposure happened on the bus where they are supposed to wear face masks but with or without masks they have to quarentine. I am fully vaccinated myself but still on the fence with the kids. I wouldnt hesitate if they were older but idk with the youngest age you can get vaccinated being my daughter's age I'm nervous.
