Spoke to my mother today and she sounds good but she said she feels ehhh and my dad still won’t eat solids, just soups. Spoke to my niece that tells me that they think my parents got infected at church. There was a time everyone started getting sick and my family to be safe tested themselves and were negative. My father was the one that got hit hard and I love him but he is stubborn lol putting up a fight to get tested he ended up being positive. My sister said that there was a church gathering event and that the members there don’t wear masks and touch each other shaking hands and some of them were covid positive 🙄. My parents wear their masks on and off (parenting your parents is stressful) more reason to avoid church, just out there spreading toxicity 😂. Also my parents are not vaccinated and my family and I are waiting for their recovery and maybe this experience will convince them to get vaccinated…. But again they are stubborn.

So glad to hear they are not getting worse, but I am sure full recovery is a while off. :( It is a nasty virus. A lot of times people eat soup because they're physically exhausted and soup is minimal chewing and digestion. Parenting parents is incredibly stressful. They're worse than toddlers! <3

We need to be in church more now than ever! But we must also take extra precautions... Sanitizer in hand and sitting away from others as much as possible. Taking the extra time to make sure we feel our best before going out and using good hygiene practices more so now than ever before. I'm sorry your parents aren't well and do hope they get well soon, but their faith and trust in God during this time when so many are turning away from Him is admirable! If more would turn to Him there would be fewer problems in this world. I'm just sad to think of all the people who don't use good sense when going into church or other places, so sadly for some it's def better to have church at home. 😢
