Any tips on getting my 2yr old to eat?

He literally goes ALL DAY without eating and then come bedtime he cries he’s hungry.

I fix him whatever he wants and he still won’t eat.

Have you tried smoothies? When my youngest was going thru a picky stage it was the one thing that I knew he would have every day with some nutrients in it! A whole banana, a whole small greek yogurt, handful of fresh baby spinach, frozen strawberries and blueberries and some whole milk with a splash of orange juice. Sometimes I'd add a little honey to make it sweeter. And sometimes I'd even make him one in the morning and one at dinner time. He eats better now, but still loves smoothies and asks me to make them for him all the time

He’s always been the one to eat anything and everything I fix, but for the last couple weeks he refuses to eat. He might take a bite or two and that’s it. I’ve even made trips out to just get him McDonald’s or something like that and he still refuses.

@brittanystewart3042, maybe try little snacks, go gurts, applesauce, cheese sticks and fruits and veggies? Maybe try pb&j cut in shapes? Dry cereal. If not maybe try talking to his pediatrician. My 3 1/2 year old is super picky and in my opinion doesn’t eat enough it’s a struggle

Anyone else’s 1 year old still drink formula? My son still drinks about 32 ounces a day. He eats food 3 times a day but doesn’t eat very much at all and is very limited to what he can eat. He will eat Cheerios, bananas cut in small pieces, sweet potatoes in small pieces, broccoli in small pieces. He doesn’t eat very much at a time. For example for breakfast he will eat half of a banana or half of an avocado and that is it. He will eat Gerber stage 3 foods and will eat the whole 5oz jar for the most part. Anyone else in the same boat or have suggestions to get him to eat more.

At What Age Should a Child Make Their Own Breakfast?

Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
