Hello ladies, question is it normal for me to not have a period for almost 3 Years if I have the Nexplanon ? It worries me because my mom says I could get cancer if my period don’t come… but I don’t have no symptoms only did gain a bit more weight and hungrier then usual

Also any one using something different then Nexplanon and has worked for y’all?

You can’t get cancer from not having your period, your mom is wrong. It’s normal for hormonal birth control to stop periods. Most users of nexplanon will gain an average of 5lbs. There isn’t a medical need to have a period unless you’re worried about pregnancy.

It’s normal for birth control to do this. I have pretty much stopped having a period too
