It’s really being back on here especially after having birth trauma 2 years ago. I don’t exactly see anyone who has posted about this so I’m going to leave this here so people know and all tests or procedures are your choice in all maternity care including birth just so everyone is aware since with this topic no one has posted about this as far as I know. Because birth trauma, OB violence, or PPTSD is a very high issue and no one knowing that informed consent always exists even if providers say otherwise in hospitals including and it has been higher even more during COVID. It’s important everyone knows that they’re pros and cons to everything and never harmful to look up anything or do a birth plan or discuss anything with your provider or get a second opinion.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Thank you! This hits home for too many reasons. Had a home birth for baby #3 after finding a new midwife and left the big practice behind....the Ob staff, Dr, midwife and more were beyond rude and I was treated horribly bc I refused to allow a physical inspection of my bits. I have the gbs culture and that was it. Once I found my new midwife the only time she checked me was after baby was born and it was minimal. Had a home birth this time and would never choose otherwise again. I have said my entire time as a mom that the worst part of being a mother is the maternity care.
