When did you announce (more specifically to your kids) that you were pregnant? My kiddo has been asking questions and side eying me like crazy. I've been sick and severely bloated since early july (ivf meds and then morning sickness). Then on top of it my mil knows and keeps talking about it when kiddo is within ear shot.
I'm a little over 11 weeks and finally feeling better but I'm terrified that something will happen after I tell kiddo and then she'll be so sad and disappointed. She's wanted a sibling now for four years ans we've been trying for 3. If I had it my way i wouldn't tell her until baby was in my arms 🤣.

I told my oldest son around 10 weeks after a ultrasound he kept asking why I was so sick and he has two other siblings so he was definitely skeptical. I usually wait till 12 weeks to tell anyone once your more in the clear of no miscarriages ect.

I told them immediately. I get such bad ‘morning’ sickness that there was no hiding it from my oldest, he knew immediately & my youngest asked my oldest why I was sick. So I confirmed it with them as soon as it was brought up. We had a loss at the beginning of the year that they both took very hard. But they want to be involved for the whole thing & that’s a risk I was willing to take.

I understand your concern. I did IVF an thru my infertility dr. found out it was twins. Everything look good no indication of concern so infertility dr. Release me to my ob. I thought It was a good idea to take my daughter to my first ultrasound I was 9 weeks along to surprise her. But to my surprise I lost baby B and I was so shock and had to have a brave face for her but I was heart broken. I think I should have waited till 12 weeks ultrasound.
I told my daughter at 13 weeks when I told everyone else. She was barely 3 and I didn’t want her blabbing it to everyone early so I waited until I wanted everyone to know. It was hard because I was really sick all the time but luckily 3 year olds can’t tell time so she didn’t realize I was sick for months.
I told my son when I was about 13 weeks I think. He surprisingly doesn’t really bother me with questions just the occasional “is he kicking you?” Or “is the baby hungry too?”
Did you find out the gender yet? I’m excited for you to find out. Lol.
Not yet! I'm so excited too but I have a feeling it's a girl lol
I didn't tell anyone until I was 36 weeks.
Damn! I don't think we can wait that long lol. I'm already getting huge 😩
@massgirl, Hoodies were my best friend. 😂
I waited for quite some time. Close to third trimester. I didn’t want him to tell other people and honestly I wouldn’t have been able stand to hear him ask for months if the baby was gonna come yet. But C is older so maybe she won’t pester you!
She'll be pestering me lol but she's older so she has a better concept of time. I'll get her a calendar or start a count down to make it easier
I just told my kids and I’m 19 weeks.
Did your oldest pick up on it beforehand?
@massgirl, my first and second suspected something. They kept asking if I was going to baby doctor appointments.
