What a night...😔

Only slept for 1 hour l together. I am not sure wby she was crying the whole night. I changed her nappy, i gave her milk. May be she is hungry on the bottle it says cow and gate 90ml 0 to 2 months, but at the hospital they told me 30ml per feed. Also on the bottle it says 6 times in 24 hours i the hospital they told me every 3 to 4 hours.

How much formula milk you gove your child per fees and how many feeds in 24 hours xx

Up the mls, all babies feed different some need more some need less

Try 90mls and see how she does

Honestly don't listen to a midwife on how much to feed your child, feed on demand

Every 2-3 hours instead of 3-4

This is normal as she will be getting used to being outside the womb, they are used to being in water, snuggly and warm. I started with an ounce and added an ounce each time it was drained x

If you think she's hungry try offering her between 30ml/90mls every 2-3hrs instead of 3-4hrs for the first week and then gradually up the time come the second week.

Not everytime they cry its due to hunger she might want a dummy for comfort if you haven't offered her one yet. It works out the same around 6 feeds in 24hrs. After shes gained back her birthweight it becomes a lot less worrying as you know she's gaining. If she's downing the bottle quickly she might be taken back to much air which is causing her some discomfort whilst she's adjusting to it. Hope you manage to get some rest and sleep when baba does if your sons in school. Xx

I always formula fed on demand both mine. They're both fine now, sometimes i think midwives intervene more than they need to 🙄 xx

@aleksandravolkova1693 also please dont just switch to hungry baby milk like I did. It was the biggest mistake I ever made Emie got so constipated she didnt poo for 4 days and I got about an hours sleep because she was so uncomfortable and upset until she finally went. I then switched her back to the normal one and she was fine after that xx

I feed mine whenever she is hungry as that’s what they told me to do if your still at the hospital she might just be unsettled until she goes home as my little one wouldn’t settle the second night I was there xx

I used to just feed when ever hungry, her belly is only still really tiny so she will get hungry quicker, I never followed what guidelines says there’s only you what knows your child best ❤️❤️ xx

Quick question to breast feeding mum i would like to breast feed my baby when she comes as I’ve never really breast fed my other 2, is it uncomfortable also how is pumping out milk????? For bottle feeds is the pump uncomfortable... I would normally just breast feed and not pump when home but I do drive so when I’m out and can’t stop I’ll have to use a bottle...I remember trying to breast feed my youngest and I keeped getting milk ducts why was that??? I think that’s why I gave up as I was scared lol

Waking to feed? My dd is a week old and I was told by her doctor to wake her every 2 hours during the day and 3-4 hours at night to feed her. For the first 3 days I did that and when I would wake her fit a night feeding she was fussy and usually wouldn't go back to sleep and would want to nurse constantly until about 9 am. I tried not waking her last night and she slept beautifully! She woke up around 6 hours in and ate then slept another hour or so and ate again. Is it ok to let her sleep?
