Mommies please say a prayer for me to have a peace of mind. Im currently out of work because of covid, my husband is in school to get his cdl license so we only have his disability check coming in which isnt much, and to top it off our landlord wanted to do a walk through which we agreed to. We tell him he has to wear a mask and gets sprayed when he comes in because I'm pregnant and our daughter's immune system is low, he agreed. When he got here he refused and said we're getting evicted and have to move out in 30 days. So now we have to find a place to stay and on top of it all baby boy will be here in 7 weeks and we're not even ready 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ I'm swear I'm losing my mind

That was absolutely rotten and horrible of him. Evicting a pregnant woman in a pandemic. :( I will most certainly keep you in my prayers. I hope your husband is close to graduation because I am pretty sure there are tons of jobs right now with good sign on bonuses.

Not sure if you truly are in VA, but eviction protection is in place until 2022, so look into that. You said you've paid your rent on time every month, and keep the property in good condition, so if you really don't want to leave you don't have to. I don't think not permitting him to enter the premises is grounds for eviction. Also, eviction is a process, and you have the option to fight it
@mujerstillregal I certainly will do that. My husband's class doesn't end until 5 so that gives me plenty of time to get some information so he won't have to meet him later
@momofkem_sam I hope you find something to put you at ease ❤️
@mujerstillregal Thank you so much! I do too. I can't afford to stress right now
On what grounds are you being evicted? Eviction is a process, the landlord needs to give you a reason. When does your lease expire? He can't just show up and tell you to leave in 30 days, he has to give written notice.
Sending prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
He needs to give you written notice. He can’t just show up and tell you.
Unfortunately he told us he's going this week since this happened Saturday.
Sending you prayers mama. Check the landlord tenant laws in your state, does he have a valid reason to evict? I’d try and fight if you can but I know it’s almost impossible in a lot of places. I’d also start looking into what different programs might be in your area to help moms, families or pregnant women facing hardships. Try and keep your head up for your babies this will pass and everything will work itself out💕💕💕💕
@lexhernandez, exactly.
@lexhernandez Thank you so much!
@mimixtmn my husband and I plan on going to the courthouse Friday because he doesn't have class that day but hopefully they'll explain things to us and help us out.
By law he should not be able to evict a pregnant woman but every state is different. All because he was not able to enter? I would get some information because this sounds a bit shatty.
Hopefully he is not able to do this.
Good luck and you are in our prayers❤️
@momofkem_sam, please check your laws. This seems crazy. I hope you do not leave until you are most certain that this is legal.
Wish you and your family lots of luck.
@momofkem_sam, This sounds like he needed an excuse to get rid of you all.
@icebergahead That's how I honestly feel too. But I will look into this legally. We plan on going to the courthouse on Friday to ask questions.

Yes! I'm thankful he graduates on the 28th of this month and he starts working the day after I believe. And thank you so much for your prayers! I really appreciate it!!
