Both of mine were very similar, both times around I went into labour in the middle of the night (around 2am).

I didn't have any signs of labour before hand. It was very sudden both times. I didn't lose my plug until I was in active labour with either child.

My waters broke just before I felt the urge to push with both.

The only difference was the duration of my labour, with my second it was 4hours 20 minutes from me waking with slight twinges to me holding him. With my second it was 1 hour 30/45minutes from me waking with mild contractions to her being in my arms :) x

Going off my third pregnancy.. a few days before I was losing parts of my plug, but then one morning I woke up I went to the loo for a wee and I had “the show” anyways I got back into bed and I was having bellyache but on and off it kept coming and going so I tried a bath to see if that shifted it and it didn’t so I got back in bed and still kept getting these pains.. anyway they were becoming stronger and more intense: so i phoned the hospital, she said to take paracetamol,and give it another hour which is what I did and I also timed contractions - I then when to the hospital where they checked me and I was already 6cm dilated and heard her say “my waters were bulging” they moved me to the birthing centre and that’s where my waters broke🙌🏼 so my contractions started first and my waters broke midway🙈xxx
