Anyone know what this may be? My daughter is almost 2 and this scab sort of thing appeared on her scalp about a month ago. I didn’t think anything of it but it never went away. It kind of resembles cradle cap but she’s way past that..

Looks like a fungus which is what cradle cap is… I’d have her seen or you could try purchasing anti fungal shampoo like nizoral from shoppers

Our pediatrician said that even adults could have cradle cap! It’s basically just a fungal infection and/or overactive glands. My daughter was around the same age when hers came back. One wash with Mustela once a week for about a week and she hasn’t had it again.

Is cradle cap my 3 year old still gets it and my 4 year old cousin still gets it bad
