Am I overreacting? My 4 year old fell asleep in my bed and my one year old fell asleep on the couch. My one year old’s dad wanted my four year old to go in her room, so he took her in there and didn’t cover her up or anything. Then, he put my one year old in our bed nice and tucked in under the cover when she shares a room with my four year old. They were both sound asleep so there was no reason to bother my four year old, especially if he was just going to bring the baby in. I’m upset and feel like it’s favoritism but I’m brushed off as usual.

Oh no… how could he do that ?? That would really bother me. For him to say you were over reacting would bother me even more. He doesn’t see the problem?! Keep watching for things like this.

Nope that's not cool. Tonight I'd have both my kids in my bed and he be sleeping on the couch

Oh HELLLL NA! THAT would piss me off worse. I'd SHOW him overreacting as I was tossin all his shit outside and changin the locks. When it comes to your babies, there's NO such thing as "overreacting" or "goin too hard". Impossible.

Idk you, him or y'alls dynamic AT ALL, and I could be wrong, but there's somethin about the general aura of this "man" you're describing that is very off-puting to me. I can't put my finger on it.

Is he controlling and/or abusive in any other way?

That would rub me the wrong way too girl. I PROMISE your 4 year old is picking up on it as well. Kids are MUCH smarter than we give em credit for.

I would DEF be havin a talk with the baby's Dad and not just let this slide. Once you let it go once, dude is going to take that to mean you're cool with it.

Sitting back and passively letting it happen is really the same thing as what he's doin. It's envoking those same feelings in your kiddo.

My world stopped I was changing the laundry over and my husband went to use the restroom. Our 20 month was in the room with our 10 year old and climbed up on the bed and fell, face first, landing on her head. Our bed is three feet off the ground and our son said she was standing up, so roughly a five foot fall. I ran into the room and she was unresponsive. She didn't take her first breath for 45 seconds. Her eyes were rolled in the back of her head and her entire body was limp. I lost it. I was screaming for my husband to call 911 and was running around looking for my phone. I was screaming to God to protect my baby who laid lifeless in my arms, aside from shallow breaths. I called 911 and was panicking for them to send someone ASAP. My first time ever needing an ambulance and we moved from having a fire station about a football field away to the boonies where we have one neighbor. I didn't know how long it would take for them to get here.

Adrienne fell asleep on the way home which threw off her whole bed time thing! I'm beyond irritated and beyond upset with my husband and myself. He gets to sleep while I'm struggling with a fussy ass baby. She's sleepy but refuses to fall asleep. 😡😡😩😫😫. And then he gets mad because I had a margarita...... he has an outlet, his bike, I don't have one, so I take one where I can get one.
