Can you just do a zoom call and explain to the doctor what symptoms you have and maybe show her baby’s mouth if there is still white patches on the inside? Usually they can just send an RX over to your pharmacy, also it couldn’t hurt to ask your dr about the gentian violet.. I can’t remember how old baby has to be in order for you to apply it on your breast and then nurse.. only “bad” thing I remember about that stuff was my baby had a purple mouth 😂

They prescribed for me over the phone, just had to pick it up from the pharmacy. I sent pics of the patches in my sons mouth, he was like a week old at the time so they didn’t make us come in. Def try it though.

Yes it does suck, I went through it for about three months off and on. I sanitized everything and washed everything in hot water. Literally nothing worked, not the fluconazole, not the nystatin.. I finally did enough research in it and gave Grapefruit seed extract a shot along with gentian violet and it killed it instantly! Good luck make sure if you have pacifier you are boiling them also.

My son and I both had it bad! They prescribed a pill called fluconazole for me and a solution for his mouth called nystantin. It took like 7-10 days to completely go away but it helped a lot. Get yogurt with live probiotic cultures, you can also take probiotic capsules.

I had an appointment for tomorrow to get medicine for myself but we were all exposed to covid so now we have to quarantine.
A few days ago I bought some plain yogurt and have been dipping my finger in a little bit of it and rubbing the inside of the baby’s mouth and now his mouth is just about completely cleared up. I’ve been trying to pump when my boobs are full instead of nursing him. && I’ve been constantly sanitizing everything. @momgroupreject, @jays.mom.,
