So my little boy received his school letter today with his pre K teacher's name. He is excited and nervous. LOL who has a little one starting this school year? What are some of your hopes for them this year? Crazy how fast time flies huh?

graduate What year did you graduate high school?
Outrageous! A 5 year old was detained and questioned at his school for taking a toy gun to show his friend. He was so scared he wet his pants and his parents weren't notified until 2 hours into the questioning. He was suspended for 10 days, but it was reduced to the 3 days he had already served after the parents and others complained. The school stated that the situation was handled appropriately and would be handled in a similar manner in the future.
Boy banned from carrying bag- Target for Bullying A North Carolina school has ordered a 9-year old boy to stop wearing his My Little Pony bag, as it makes him a target for bullies.
Summer Birthday and School My son is 4. His birthday is in mid July. We are going to hold him in pre school one more year. Did any of you with school age kids do this, too? How have they done in school being older?
