Got to love early morning visit to the urgent care. The patient was my tough little girl Natalie, she had a Q-tip in her ear and mason jammed it further in her ear. Nothing was concerning at the time of the incident until last night when her ear began bleeding. Good news her ear drum looks fine, but she did see blood on the eardrum so even one small hole she is at risk for an infection. We will return on Monday or Tuesday to recheck and as a precaution she was sent antibiotics.
