A few days ago I said I was going to stop my antidepressants cold turkey and just pull through the withdrawals. I can admit when I do something very stupid and that was by far the most idiotic thing I have ever tried to do, day two had me feeling like I was going to die. I’m not going to lie I looked and felt like an addict taking a pill just to make that feeling go away along with idk how many acetaminophen because my vision was blurry. It was a lesson I had to learn the hard way.

Did you start taking them back? I just thought you were in a bad place, because multiple women on here told you it wouldn't be a smart move.

I’m back on them and my doctor wants to see how I am in a month and to see if they can change the medication 🙄. No i wasn’t in a bad place I knew it wasn’t going to be a good idea but I was not aware of how bad it could actually be.

@latinamomof3 I wish you'd have taken the warnings. In life you'll come across people who've had the experience, and they try to share it with you so that you don't have the same experience they did. Tapering the medication is often necessary so that you don't relapse into depression. Well, unfortunately, now you know the risks, hopefully if you tell someone else they will listen. I hope your doctor will be able to find you better medication, but be patient, weaning can take time. Sending you strength for the days ahead ❤️
