Did any of you have more period issues post infection?
I’m supposed to be ovulating right now and instead I’m having the worst pain down there ever. I can’t tell if it’s uterine or ovarian cause it all hurts like no other down there. I do have a 3cm ovarian cyst already on my right ovary. OTC pain meds ain’t cutting it as I was awake off and on all night in pain. Even my favorite herbal remedy didn’t do the trick so this is extra bad. I’m actually going to call the doctor when they open in 15 minutes, yes it’s that bad.

Haven’t had covid, but do you normally feel pain with ovulation? My ovulation pain got worse when I had a large cyst inside my ovary. I also have endometriosis and that flares badly when I ovulate.

I barely have ovulation pain, even with the cyst I already have. That’s why I’m wondering wtf is going on and if it’s a post covid issue

makes sense! Covid seems to cause so many issues. I just asked my friend who is in a lot of chronic pain groups and she said no one there has reported anything like you’re experiencing due to a covid infection. But also if covid increases inflammation markers and that’s not been reduced yet in your system, it’s possible the 1-2-3 punch of covid recovery, cyst and ovulation are impacting you more than normal.

So weird I started experiencing pain on my right ovary yesterday. It hurt so bad. Thing is 2 days before I had an ultrasound to check on a cyst on that ovary which is now gone. So idk if I have a new one within a span of 2 days or what. I haven’t gotten covid as far as I know though. Hope you feel better soon!

I have… prior to covid my cycles were like clockwork.. after covid first my cycles were really long and under predictable .. more recently they have been 24 days exactly and causing my tons of pain during ovulation and my period 😩

Nope no period issues. I had Covid in November. I have plenty of other long term issues though

Yes! It’s irregular now I’ve been regular for years and after Catching covid in April it’s been crazy every month. I also have long haul covid symptoms till this day
