Am I missing something.... I just called an ob (not my first pic) for my first appointment and they didn't ask any questions besides my insurance information??? When I had my first daughter there was a laundry list of questions before I even made the appointment. Is this the new standard or should I find another doctor?

They usually ask more questions at the appointment. I feel like they might of asked me how far along I thought I was

Did they ask for email address? I feel like most appointments I make now they send me a link or something with stuff to fill out

They didn't get a referral since I did ivf.
@massgirl when I had my first ob appointment after ivf they did ask questions but usually the IVf clinic ask you what ob your going to an they send the information over to ob. But for me they have all the info an still asks me. An congrats on a successful IVF pregnancy.
Um congratulations!! Maybe they were busy or no longer want to ask those questions on the phone? For new place appointments I usually get asked insurance info.

That’s how I feel. I’m using the same ob that I had with my son and sometimes I’m like did we do this the first time around or is this new ?
@imacat yeah. It's been 7 years for me and my first ob who I loved is down in Florida and clearly isn't an option anymore lol
Congrats!!! From my experience that’s really it they ask all the questions at your appointment and they should seek your medical records or ask for them and then after reviewing asking any questions.
I believe you fill out forms during your first appointment if I remember correctly.
They will have you review your info when you get there. They have you in their system assuming nothing has changed.
