My brain is going to explode if I read “what’s the point of getting the vaccine if you can still get covid” this was from a news anchor 🤦🏻♀️… just in case this is news to the world, vaccines in general were never meant to prevent or cure a virus, they were made to inform your immune system on what to look for. If you want to ask yourself why do I want this vaccine if I never got covid, just ask yourself if I get covid (hopefully not) do I want my body prepared or dealing with it blindly. The only prevention that this vaccine is trying to accomplish are people ending up in the ICU on ventilators or worse dying. As for the whole fda approval thing, if that’s a big issue just know that vitamins, cosmetics, baby formula, supplements are not fda approved so….

That's why I post that weekly update from Ohio about breakthrough infections. We have a couple of folks on here who want to be snide about breakthrough infections. Our state numbers are very clear. Since January 1st, almost 7,000 Ohioans have died of covid. Only 71 were vaccinated (and old or had major health issues that a stiff wind probably would have blown them over) Those odds speak for themselves.
The FDA is going to give full approval on Monday. Wonder what their new excuse will be then.

It’s all going to take time. The continent of Africa announced being polio free just last year, it will be one year on the 25th. This isn’t going to be an overnight event. I was hesitant for a while but when I looked at it that way do I want my immune system ready or confused af it made the choice easier and honestly the side effects was not as bad as I thought it would be the second one was actually easier than the first. I’m still holding off for my teen maybe after his 14th birthday.

My guess is if they’re saying that then they’re less of a journalist and more of an entertainer. Sadly, it shows how ill informed they are to make statements like that. It’s irresponsible and dangerous to say things like this. We should be working to overcome vaccine hesitancy, not questioning how vaccines work to get viewers. Disgusting.
