Was she in close contact? Both my kids’ school have sent home notices in the past but they never tell kids to stay home or close the school. They just say watch for symptoms and have your kid tested if any symptoms arise. My son was exposed last week so we tested him and he was negative.
i'm not sure principal just said she was exposed and could return the 2nd if she doesn't show symptoms

I’m so sorry. I know how it is my son was the kid who was sick in his class last year and the whole class had to quarantine for 14 days as a precaution even though he showed symptoms on a Sunday but he was at school on a Friday but they still wanted to take precautions. They will sanitize the class and notify every parent but will not say what student has it. I hope all is well! Was your child wearing a mask?
i'm not sure she didn't say how she was exposed idk if it was someone in the class or in the whole school she just said if Jerri doesn't show symptoms she could return September 2nd and more information would be sent out tomorrow
that's what i thought too but i'm guess to clean and sanitize the school also 🤷🏻♀️
idk, that’s really weird. we thoroughly clean and sanitize every night since positive cases are always popping up.
I hope she ends up okay but that seems like a long time to quarantine if she doesn't even have it.

So it's hard for me because my 16 year old past the test when she was in third grade and my niece passed it last year and now all my daughter's friends will be going to the third grade and she will be repeating and I don't want to send her back to the same school to be bullied because she has to repeat a grade and so I'm looking into other schools but see the thing is you teach her something she gets it then you go back to it and she like I don't know it so frustrating and she likes to wonder off so I'm scared to bus her because they lost her 2times on the bus and just the other day they let her walk home by herself I'm just in over my head please pray for me that I can find the right school and get an understanding of what to do
Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
