Are you ladies sending your kids to school? In my opinion I changed my mind and I’m not sending her because of all COVID surging over here. I don’t understand why can they do virtual !!! All they care it’s money!!!

We are sending ours. They have to wear masks , I feel like they DONT learn doing homeschooling. All my step son did was take dumb little tests on the computer AND he wasn't even graded on them, also when he did have an assignment it was really dumb just all Google projects. Where Google gave them the answers. I just don't feel he learned anything, I feel that going to school in person he will learn more than the tiny things he was doing on the computer.

My son went back to school. They have to wear mask which is great since some schools here in California at least are going anti mask 🤦🏼♀️. Like others have said online is just not very educational and my son is a hands on learner. I get if you have homeschooled before but if you haven’t no thank you!

@icebergahead, it’s so dumb we have a whole mom community in my area who legit have a name that’s called unmask the kids and they go and protest and go to the board meetings fighting to get the board to let kids not wear mask ect it’s ridiculous!

School-based Vaccine Clinics for Students
In September, the district will provide COVID vaccine clinics for our students 12 years of age and older on site at each of our middle schools and the high school. The dates of the vaccine clinics are:——
Parents/guardians will need to complete a written consent form for each student ages 12 years to 18 years to receive the vaccine at the clinics. More information about the clinics including the consent forms will be provided at the start of school in September.
All students and staff must wear masks👍

We’re keeping my daughter in her small private school for kindergarten this year. I was worried about sending her to public school with the uncertainties of this virus. They were able to go all year last year without closing.
I, on the other hand, will be returning to the classroom once my maternity leave ends. The district I teach for isn’t offering a virtual option for teachers this year. If it were an option, I would have requested to teach virtually again this year.

We did remote learning last year but my daughter will be going to school this year. Our governor has mandated masks

Yes they are all going back. Honestly they want to go back and they did not like virtual learning, they miss socializing and this will be my daughters first time I skipped preschool because it was virtual. My second has a learning disability and he does better in person.

Mine are doing cyber again this year. Masks are only voluntary for kids and staff at their school.

We are still waiting for the updates. I am sure our district will imply and have children wear masks which is 100% great news. I am still not sure about how safe will it be for unvaccinated children like dd. So we are still not sure what to do yet. I am not comfortable sending dd to school while she is unvaccinated TBH.
School does not begin until September.

My kids are back in person this year. Masks are not mandatory but optional they know to keep
Their masks on I talk to them everyday about the importance of it. Honestly no I did not necessarily want to send them back. But I start a new position in September and although it is a remote position (which is wonderful for school breaks and vacations) I had to send
Them back. If they were to do virtual I would want to be available to them all day and that’s just not how it is right now. So I think if I kept them home
It wouldn’t be good for them academically 😩
