Frustrated 😣 so Emma has a hemangioma like i had/have, since it came we've heard from her pediatrician "oh it'll go away, nothing to worry about" so i was thankful because mine was so sever the "roots" went all the way down my neck and ended up needing surgery so i could open my eye...well girls go today for their physical and seen a different doctor and now Emma is gettin scheduled for a ultrasound to see if it's like mine and is attached make sure the "roots" aren't causing problems to her skull or hearing.... if it is they'll do surgery to remove it... i'm glad this dr is concerned don't get me wrong but i'm annoyed this whole time no one else decided to be concerned with it and say it's fine but this dr saying we need to check it make sure 🤦🏻♀️

Could they just finally be checking it because it hasn’t gone away? My youngest had one that has gotten much smaller over the last few months

This or maybe now that she's old enough for it to be fully evaluated.

I can understand your frustrations, but I honestly wish their first doctor didn't just blow it off since there is such a relevant case of it in the family. I don't know if she was too young to check on it more, but I wish the doctor had said they'd keep an eye on it, rather than day it's "no big deal." I hope this doctor will look into it closely.
