Anyone who gave birth and got vaccinated for COVID during pregnancy delievered a healthy baby? Please some insight would help. My job is requiring it or im terminated. I am just worried to harm my baby.
@iwetmyplants, so she should rather just take something because everyone was ok? Wouldn’t it be better for her to speak to her doctor? With everything else everyone always says it’s best to talk to your doctor but with the vaccine it’s an I’m ok go take it situation? That makes no sense if she’s asking it’s because she is unsure and there should at least be one person that plays devils advocate and suggests to speak to your medical professional.
@latinamomof3, That’s not what you said. Your exact words were “maybe speak with your doctor and see if you can get a note to hold off”. I’m not going back and forth with you. Have a great day.
And this one.

It is most often that any serious vaccine reactions will happen within the first 90 days of the shot. Pregnant women have been eligible for about 6 months now and no adverse effects have been reported either from the mother or the baby, not even to VAERS. You should consider your risk vs benefit and def talk to your doctor like the comment above mentioned. The risk of getting covid while pregnant is a lot more severe and depending on your work setting they are most likely wanting to create a safer environment. The vaccine does not prevent you from contracting COVID, breakthrough cases are about 0.004% with the new variant. The median age for those who have been fully vaccinated and still passed away is 82 years old with more serious underlying health conditions.
My sister was a surrogate for a couple, both were in the medical field and my sister is as well and she got it while pregnant. I got it as soon as possible and will give birth early Sept. I suggest talking to your doctor. I was all for it but had a few questions and my doctor was great and cleared them up!
@andreapena26 I asked her, I can't remember. She works the next 3 days so might be later today that she answers me. That was one of my questions I asked my doctor, if there was one that was preferred over the other.
My sister got it when she was pregnant and the baby is perfectly healthy. I also got it early on in my pregnancy and the baby is doing great.
My boss got it while pregnant and her son is now 6 weeks and perfect!
My sister is an RN & got it while pregnant. Her daughter is a happy and healthy 3m old.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
If you are not comfortable maybe speak with your doctor and see if you can get a note to hold off. Everyone reacts differently and even if others have no negative effects there is still that small percent, it’s your body and your baby you should be able to make a choice that won’t affect your job.
