Girl I got pregnant on birth control .. my story is a little twisted because my whole life I had an irregular menstrual and a lot of cervix pain .. I was told that it would be hard to conceive when the time comes so to me I never expect to be pregnant at all but anyways I got pregnant with my first son at 24yrs old and I was in denial for like 4 months I had no symptoms but I know something was off because normally I would have my menstrual every 28 days with my birth control so my best friend at the time convinced me to take a pregnant test when I did it was bright ass red line I was like girl your test is old there’s no way I’m pregnant from there I went to but like a 4 pack clear blue and there it was again on all 4 test pregnant I was like what the hell went to the doctor and your girl was 5 months no symptoms Tummy was flat and all I gain a little weight but I just thought it was from the time I was eating because I was working over nightshirt …. But I’m the end baby was good I had a short term pregnancy gave birth at 37 weeks he was health as a horse 6.5 lbs and 20” long
@ai.ariel, with this pregnancy I would say I felt pregnant from mid December around 24th or so I took a test it was negative but when I took a test the following week which was New Year’s Eve it was positive
@leshain18, I was thinking it can be the birth control maybe
I’m so glad I read this thread because I was thinking of going on the pill for birth control because the depo made me gain weight and I’m scared of the ring but after seeing so many women got pregnant off the pill I’m going to stay away from that. Dam I need a good birth control!!
@luv_2b_amomma, now I had to change my bc pills to junel let’s see how this goes .
@ai.ariel, why what happened if you don’t mind me asking ?. I just got my pills but I haven’t stated taking them yet.

@ai.ariel, At this point I'm a cautionary tale, I don't mind at all. I got the Paragaurd IUD and it worked for about 2 years. Found out I was five weeks pregnant sort of randomly in December of 2020 after realizing my period was late. Had to get it removed in the ER. They said while removing it from my body “it's almost out”. Needless to say I was not expecting to hear that.
Depot shot. And I now have a beautiful 5 year old
I myself am a pill baby! 😂 Pretty glad it failed 🤷♀️😂
Yup on the pill and now she is going to be four in October

@ai.ariel, regular pregnancy test. We were out at a club one night and the ne t day I slept until literally 4pm and my girl friend who slept over at my place asked me if I was pregnant and I was like nooo way and then couldn’t remember the last time I had a period so she bought me a test and I took it. Low and behold it was very positive lol
