So i went for my midwife appointment and she measured my bump and said at 28 weeks ny previous midwife said it was 28cm, now i have new midwife from today and she measure my bump again 28cm and now i am 31 week. So it havent grown since 28weeks. She booked me for emergency scan. Which now makes me so worried 😟. I am scared that i have harmed my baby and now she is not growing, and makes me feel punicing. I have scan this friday. Did any of you ladys been through same situation

Yeah hun I’ve been through this and was measuring 6weeks behind , turns out it was just the way he was positioned xx

I have scan booked for this Friday so we will see how she is doing. But i hate being left with a panic and fear 😨

Yeah I'm not sure if you remember my status about this at 38 weeks I was measuring 35, went for a scan and everything was normal. The midwife at the scan said to me its actually very common as measuring bumps is not reliable but they just do it to be cautious xx

Thank you so much, just had a look. I also had to ring hospital my self as my midwife before on 22 of July requested a scan and till today I haven't heard from them, and when I went to my midwife today she requested emergency scan but I thought to also call them my self as they sometime taking the piss and don't contact you.
And as someone mention on your post, taht sometime they do say scary things with out any explanation and let you go home, but advise you not to google anything. But its not possible when you left with no answers or explanation, eventually you will start googling and make your self panic even more 🥺

I had 3 extra scans cos my bump never been big enough and every time everything was fine 😉

Also now I am thinking the first midwife took measurements from under my brests so from the top of the belly to the bone but this one went more lower it was like from near the middle of my belly so cm down. May be because they both done different way from eachother this is why results came different 🤷♀️

I had the same. Different midwives measured the bump differently. Try not to panic, although I know you’ll be stressed! Hope you’re doing okay xx

I had the same. Personally I think its really silly way of keep measurements. I was measuring a few weeks behind and had felt baby move before, the scan showed exactly what I said he'd moved from bum sticking out to back to back.
