had a girlfriend for 6 months things got messy. it's definitely not easy giving two different people the same amount of attention. so me personally i wouldn't do it again

don't explain anything to them unless you have gotten into a serious relationship. A polyamorous relationship is much different than an open relationship.

right. I get that. Unless its serious to the point of the other person being around the family the kids don't need to know. The new partner in my opinion has to pass certain standards to be anything serious
