After looking at the US code for the Flag, it seems that anyone that has the flag hung up like a tapestry, in the back of the pick up trucks and if anyone ever used those napkins and paper plates with the flag printed on them they have all disrespected the Flag. My flag that got damaged in a storm and ripped has to be burned. The things you learn when you can’t fall asleep.

If you have a flag that needs properly disposed of please contact your local American Legion or other Veteran Organization and they will gladly accept it. They gather old flags and have proper ceremonies to pay respect to the flags so they are not just thrown away. Thank you for caring enough to look up the flag code. It is very clear that our flag is not meant to be used merely as decoration. It represents so much! God bless you!
