Hey ladies something I’m really concerned about,
So as someone who was abused growing up I feel really uncomfortable with the thought of a baby sucking my nipples so I’ve decided instead of breastfeeding I want to express feed
has anyone else done this and what’s their thoughts I’m super nervous and I’m all up the left over it and what’s the best way to go about it hand expressing or pump?

First of all well done to you for even saying it 🥰 this is the reason I never breastfed either of mine. Because I was in the same position as you when I was younger I see them as a sexual thing not something I could feed a baby with. I just used formula as it is what I was comfortable doing so I can't give any advice with the expressing xx
@karla22, yeah he was prescribed it but it didn’t work for him so he had to spoon feed him a little earlier I think he was 2 weeks off the 4 month mark but he finally started putting on weight and it done him the world of good x
@kronaghmc99 i weaned both of mine just before 4 months too as they were both sicky babies. Health visitor said to as it helps the milk to stay down abit xx

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Totally understandable and honestly I think it’s amazing that you would like to use your breast milk, I’d recommend a breast pump, alternate sides so empty one side and then next bottle to fill up use the other side. Xx
