Does anyone’s child have that extra dry skin where what ever lotion or oil you put on, the skin just sucks it right up? What are you guys trying?

Yes lol… Vaseline on top of whatever lotion works best and is what my daughters dermatologist recommends.. it works great but my youngest is allergic to Vaseline and he needs it the most. Both Aquaphor and eucerin don’t work for him either I’m not sure if the aquaphor in the USA is different tho as the one I can get in Canada says eucerin on it as well. Shea butter is really good but depending on your climate can be difficult.
I second Aquaphor.
I have also used eucrin and that worked well.
Aquaphor! Make sure you are drying the area after baths, etc. then add a thin layer.
