Yes you would usually for at least a few weeks. I bled heavily with my second starting at 6 weeks until over 20 weeks. I was diagnosed with a subchorionic bleed and in the beginning it was super heavy with clots and I thought for sure I was having a miscarriage, she was born healthy at 38 weeks. I hope this gives you some hope while you wait to hear what’s going on. I also bled with my youngest during first tri and again around 16 weeks, again all was fine. Bleeding in pregnancy is a lot more common then people think.

@andgee24, no problem I’ve been there and know how scary it is. Just so you aren’t disappointed on the 16th as well you likely won’t have any answers then either because you are so early. They may do an ultrasound but if your not over 7 weeks it’s not for sure they will see enough to give an answer. They should send you for quantitive blood work usually at least 2 draws 48 hours apart to see if your hcg levels are rising properly (doubling every 48 hours), dropping (would point to miscarriage) or slow rising is a sign of ectopic. Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
