I’ve had one of my teeth removed today (a molar from the top). I had to have it removed following an infection in it 2 weeks ago that hurt like hell and had to have antibiotics. I had the tooth removed 4 hours ago but I’m in a huge amount of pain. It’s throbbing. Still bleeding a bit. Is this normal? I expected pain but this is verging on unbearable.
Please share experiences.

I remember when I had 2 teeth out after an infection in my gum and I was in pain for a few hours but it wasemt unbearable pain. Has the hole clotted I know after I had mine out and they clotted it I knocked it and it bled for ages so had to put a gauze in it gave you tried that to see if it stops the blood? Or call 111 and ask for some advice hope your feeling better soon xx

Could be dry socket. I’d call up for some help just to get it checked

@chelsea2018, @jo.wilcox, thank you ladies. Thankfully it’s eased a little. I can’t get over how painful it was. I’m hoping I’m over the worst of it now.

They think it was possibly. It’s much better today but my face is huge. So swollen.
