I know location obviously plays a difference, but what do you think is a reasonable price to pay for a sitter for two kids? I don’t want to low ball. It would be 3-4 hours. I was thinking $20 an hour. She’s also a close friend. 🤔

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?

I think $20 an hour is good but you can always ask her her rate first. I think it really depends on how independent the kids are. Obviously kids who aren’t potty trained will cost more.

I think so but it depends on the person. Here they charge per hour per kid so if she does flat rates for houses that’s amazing and definitely a great price.

Man....do you know in the freakin 90s, at the height of my babysitting career, I was makin 5 bucks an hour, for kids 5 and under, and 4 bucks for kids 6-11 and I was considered HIGH! 🤯 EVERYONE'S kids wanted AWESOME Aunt Linden to watch em though so my lil BARELY teenage ass was RAKIN it in! 🤑🤣
I remember the first 50 bucks I made, I spent on one of those giant plastic purses that were a thing back then. Lmao! I bought it at Stage (PRETTY sure it's NOT been in business longer than it EVER was in business!) and it was a bright purple-irredescent color! 😎 Ahhhh, nostalgia! 🥰
