She's shown no signs of mastitis and has been fine but from my research it sounds like it's a very aggressive form of it.

she's doing alright, not interested in grazing. Called my hubbs aunt down and she said that her udder is fine being black because some goats just do that after their first kid, the one side it totally fine and the other is still really hard and engorged but his aunt said not to start penicillin just yet and keep milking her because it's possible that baby just favors one side and she's not eating because she's uncomfortable. His aunt has a whole goat farm so if that's her advice then that's what I'll do. She said if it doesnt improve she will come down (she lives right up the road) but she said it should even out with time.

I put vicks vaporub on her udder and teat that's swollen because supposedly it helps improve circulation

no she isn't clogged just engorged on the one side. She seems to be doing better after milking her for a bit

I've read mixed things about essential oils on goats especially because she's nursing

@countrypeaches42013, well ur best bet is too take her to a vet and get her some antibiotics or something I read that when goats get that some need to have surgery and others need just antibiotics for like 5-7 days

She's up and was eating a little this morning. Her baby is still happy and playful so shes still feeding her which is good. Heading to tractor supply for penicillin this morning. I really need to sit and just milk her to relieve the engorged side but she wont stand still and I'm home alone all the time so I dont have the extra hands to hold her still. But milk flows freely so that's good at least.
