After being up for 48 hours straight (thanks insomnia) I finally just slept 10-2 after work and feel so much better. Does anyone have any homely remedies to help with pregnancy insomnia?

Do you drink much caffeine ? Try not drinking coke etc after lunch time it may help xx

I’ve been right off pop all through pregnancy so not caffeine. I’m usually one to put my head on the pillow and out like a light instantly and then don’t wake until morning but I’m just spending the whole night tossing and turning and if I do manage to fall asleep im waking every 20 minutes. I’ve been exhausted 😫

Do you go on your phone anything like that at night? What about listening to some calming music/meditation if that's your thing. Don't eat too late at night neither.

I am terrible for using my phone right before bed, maybe I’ll try cutting that out. I work nights so I constantly have to change my routine from being up all day to being up all nights instead. I’m usually ok but being since pregnant I’m just all over the place 😩

@vixster, whaaaat you’re kidding?! Well I told my manager (none of the staff know except the night staff)I was pregnant as soon as I found out, I’m now almost 12 weeks and still waiting for my meeting for a risk assessment 😫 x

@vixster, tbh I’m not sure I’d want to switch to days anyway, makes it super awkward with Craig working days. But it goes to show how useless they are 🙄 contracted to 30 hours per week but somehow they manage to squeeze 40 hours out of me in 5 days twice a month, go figure 😂
