We don’t go to parties like these. Your broke ass wants me to bring a gift and pay for my own kids? Umm no and I have a few cousins that do this and we never attend the party for this exact reason. Lol

When I had a party at a kids zone place I bought pizzas and provided the kids with tokens/wrist band etc. Anything extra/more they had to buy themselves if they wanted
This is how I feel it should go like if the kids want toys the parent buys it but im like $50? My son won’t even enjoy half the stuff because he’s so little

No way. If your child is invited, they shouldn’t be expected to pay for anything unless it’s something extra that they want to buy or do.
No. Usually at those places the host pays for a package that includes all the guest. If I was invited to a birthday party I would totally roll my eyes at the host being cheap...and only make kiddo go if she genuinely wanted to
@massgirl, I think this is ok and bowling is not really expensive so i wouldnt mind in this case. But $50 just for my son to get inside is crazy even with food included that is a lot

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
