Anyone have birth control suggestions with little to no side effects? Def not the IUD.. I've never been on BC so i have literally no idea. All i know is i am sick of freaking every month that i may be pregnant. 😅

Hi I am into my 15 week now But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though What should i do i am very confused Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights

Depo shot sucks I have iud and it’s been the best so far . No side effects besides light cramping like once or twice a month

I took the pill, but you have to take it every day. My nurse told me Depo makes you gain weight, so I didn’t get that. My friend got the IUD and she ended getting pregnant (Everyone is different tho)

@maddykilgore, I prefer the pill because it worked for me. I was on the pill for 6 years. I decided to end it because I wanted my first baby ☺️

@maddykilgore, no I never gain weight. The BC pill did more good things for me like cleared my acne, no menstrual cramps, and my periods literally lasted for 2-3 days

I take a low dose BC pill daily for endometriosis management and have for years. No side effects at all for me.

yeah, I wasn't ready for Journie but she's here now & we love her so much and are happy to have her but I'm doing things to stop a pregnancy this go around lol can you try seeing if your insurance will cover it?

Any type of progesterone birth control (pill or mirena IUD) and my body freaks out: weight gain and my mental health tanking are the big ones, but my acne always gets crazy too.
I know you said you’re not really interested in an IUD but the only nonhormonal one that I’m aware of is the copper IUD.

Depo worked great for me until I had a bone density test. It ruins your bones! Pills made me F’ing looney batshit crazy depressed 👎🏽 The Paragard IUD was the best! No hormones 🙏🏽 full coverage!

I agree with everyone above. Don’t do the depo don’t do the arm implant. I was on both for a total of 5 years (3 implant 2 depo) I gained about 50lbs on the implant alone and maybe another 30 on the depo. And I had the worst time trying to get pregnant after. I say stick to the pills
