Something been bugging me yesterday i took willow to nursery i explain everytime she there willow has pull up she will wee in potty but poo in pull up cos she not ready they say that fine we change her cos i put pull up in her bag as extra . I go and pick up and i can smell she poo in pull up i question them over it and they said they forgot to change her . I took her to nearest toilet place to change her and it was stuck on her and her bum was red sore . Made me think how long they left her like that . Worried taking her back on monday if this happen or do i confront them and remind them to please change willow if she poo cos her bum was sore i got no apology over it too .

I agree, there is no excuse. I would be having another word. I am not sure if English nurseries are different to Welsh ones in regards to the paper work they need to have, but surely there should be a nappy changing/checking policy and procedure in place? I would be asking to see it. If it happens again I would be asking for their complaints procedure and pulling her out 😦

I hope you manage to sort the sore bum out before she goes back, poor girl! How long was she there for?

She in 3 day a week only doing half day to get her settle before full days . Yeah I always say pull up in bag if she need changing they say we change her if she poo.

You'll most likely find that it won't happen again 1st week my boys was in they didnt do there nappy once but soon as i said sttn its been a lot better no problems since. Do you know how often they do the nappy schedule? Its every 4 hours at my nursery but if a 💩 is done obviously before that 4 slot so how on earth havny they changed her!? Id definitely be having words again with the manager n just let her know it's really upset you and if u have any problems you'll be looking to find a new placement for her who won't be ignoring her needs. Yeah defo be having word again on Monday and remind them pull up in bags just so annoyed cos I did tell them every time she went in there they In her bag . Thank you xx

@selinasoph @vixster I have word again on Monday with the manager. It was the manager who told me they forgot to change her bum . I was thinking if it happen again this week I might just change nursery ..

Yeah I think that’s a good idea. Make them aware that if this happens again you will be pulling her out and placing her in another nursery. Hopefully this gets resolved, I’d expect that as the manager is aware she will ensure this won’t happen again.

I agree, you need to be speaking to the manager or a senior staff member. I own and manage a nursery and this is completely unacceptable. I would certainly want it bringing to my attention and there would be serious words with the staff involved to ensure it didn’t happen again. And to say “they forgot!” She should be on a 1 to 4 ratio. There’s no excuse. Surely they change all nappies regularly throughout the day and it should be the same with pull ups. Those in pull ups at my nursery are taken to the toilet regularly and checked and changed regularly.

Dad's FB Video!! Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!

I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you aren’t the one that has to pick up all these toys. You aren’t the one who has to put them back. He never picks up toys. Everyone wants to get the toys out for her out no one ever wants to help me pick them back up. The fact that I said not to let her get anything out of the box more than 5 times really pisses me off. You may be her grandparent but you aren’t her parent. So now I have mass toys to pic up on top of the toys she already had out from this morning
