I just don’t know what to do anymore. My 13 year old is so disrespectful and just plain out doesn’t care. He refused to listen to the teachers and do his work in person so we switched to virtual. That was ok for awhile but then the teachers quit responding and helping him and I called and called and got no where so after Christmas they refused to take him back. The teachers don’t want to deal with him in person at all. So we switched to a completely virtual schooling and it’s a lot better with teacher involvement and the teacher is wonderful and very helpful. My son just refuses to do it. He would play games instead so she locked his computer so he couldn’t get into the games and now I don’t know what he’s wasting his time on. He sits there all day and I’ll check on him and he will be in an assignment but when I check his progress he’s not advancing but getting further behind. It’s to the point the teacher wants him to start coming to her office and working with her. I just don’t know what to do with him. I doubt if he goes that he’ll even listen to her. I’ve already taken everything away from him electronic wise and I haven’t even been letting him go outside with the other kids and it didn’t help at all.
